Focus on Fathers
The Focus on Fathers program is a way for fathers to get together and talk about their experiences in raising or helping to raise children. Fathers, stepfathers, grandparents, uncles, and all other male caregivers of children are welcome to attend our activities.

 The Focus on Fathers program offers:

  • Recreational activities and sporting events just for fathers and their kids
  • Individual Case Management
  • Parenting education classes
  • Discussion group a chance for fathers to learn from each other about the challenges of being a parent
  • Workshops - the opportunity for fathers to hear from professionals in the community about issues of interest to them, including discipline, school violence, and fire safety in the home
  

Focus on Fathers staff are available for workshops, referrals, resources, or support in all areas of the city.
