Michelle William is Senior Managing Director of Integrated Health Services, overseeing physical and behavioral health services at PHMC. Michelle’s work includes oversight of the HMC health network, which comprises six federally qualified health centers serving homeless and vulnerable populations; Health Care for the Homeless, which provides services to Philadelphia’s homeless populations in public houses, shelter, and both permanent and transitional assisted living programs; PHMCs subsidiary National Nurse Led Care Consortium (NNCC) which provides technical assistance and advocacy to Health Centers on a national basis level; and PHMC’s Behavioral Health Services portfolio, which includes both drug and alcohol treatment, mental health treatment, trauma treatment and treatment for perpetrators of interpersonal violence. Prior to joining PHMC, Michelle served as Vice President of the Orchard Hills Program at KidsPeace National Centers, a large nonprofit organization that serves the behavioral health needs of children, families and communities. In that position, she played a central role in the strategic planning process and oversaw an annual operating budget of more than $65 million and a staff of 1,000 employees. She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of human services, including direct care, clinical and executive leadership.

Michelle earned a B.A. in Social Work from Marywood University and a master’s degree in Social Work from Bloomsburg University. She recently served as a board member for Pennsylvania Council of Children, Youth & Family Services.
