WHYY Radio features PHMC’s Mercer County Health Survey

For the first time, researchers from PHMC’s Community Health Data Base (CHDB) announce the release of a survey of children in Mercer County. WHYY radio reported on the results of the survey, a collaboration with the nonprofit Children’s Futures, for which researchers at CHDB collected data on the health status and access to care of children in Mercer County, including Trenton, home to some of the most economically-challenged neighborhoods in America. PHMC Research on LGBT Older Adults Featured in Philadelphia Gay News

The January 5 edition of the Philadelphia Gay News highlighted the work of PHMC’s Research and Evaluation Group, which is conducting a study of the health needs of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgenered) older adults. The survey, which is open to LGBT adults 55 and older living in the Philadelphia area, takes 15 minutes and can be completed until the end of January--online, via mail or in person.
