Since 1973, La Comunidad Hispana has provided services to vulnerable, low-income families and individuals in Chester County, especially those of the Latino community. By being both culturally sensitive and bilingual, the staff of La Comunidad Hispana and its health center, Project Salud, have developed a trust within the community that allows La Comunidad Hispana to play an important role in meeting the needs and addressing changing issues faced by low-income Hispanics.

Project Salud

Project Salud was established in 1985 by La Comunidad Hispana, a social service agency in Kennett Square. We are a nurse-managed primary health care center, offering a holistic approach to individuals and families in a bilingual and bicultural setting.

Monday 10 AM to 7:30 PM
Tuesday 1 PM to 7:30 PM
Wednesday 1 PM to 4:30 PM
Thursday 1 PM to 7:30 PM
Friday 10 AM to 2:30 PM

Laboratory Hours
Thursday 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Fees are based on a sliding scale, depending on income and family size. No one will be denied care due to nonpayment.
