Get REAL

Get REAL is a collaborative project between the Public Health Management Corporation and Mazzoni Center which seeks to help improve the health and well-being of 15 to 29 year-old African American and White gay and bisexual men in Philadelphia. Get REAL is a social marketing project that tells the stories of real men in Philadelphia who have struggled, or are still struggling, with substance abuse, unsafe sexual practices and a variety of other issues that compromise their health. By having real men tell their stories, we hope to promote frank discussions among gay and bisexual men about these issues, which may have a positive impact on their ability to address unhealthy behaviors. This project is made possible by a grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
