Best Nest, Inc. seeks individuals and families willing to become certified foster parents for children with special medical needs. Current or previously licensed parents and new families are encouraged and welcomed to apply. Best Nest provides a comprehensive support system that includes regular visits from a Best Nest social worker, connections to other Best Nest foster parents and a monthly stipend to help support the cost of caring for the children.

The need for qualified, committed foster parents in our region is great, and rewards from being a foster parent are even greater. Best Nest offers monthly orientations to help prospective foster parents learn about the application process and the roles and responsibilities of foster parenting. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a foster parent or attending the next orientation session, please contact Lori Hendrickson, Best Nest’s associate director, at This email address is being protected from spambots.
