Thank you for joining us on Tuesday, April 3, at Mosaic: PHMC’s Ruby Anniversary, an event that marked 40 years of public health leadership and innovation. The evening at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts brought together nearly 400 guests to celebrate PHMC’s mosaic of programs and services that create and sustain healthier communities. Christy Turlington Burns, filmmaker, global maternal health advocate, master of public health student and model, addressed the crowd as keynote speaker.

We also honored recently retired, longtime PHMC leaders, as well as retired board members. PHMC staff honorees included John G. Loeb, a visionary founder of PHMC; Elaine Fox, a leader in developing PHMC’s primary care clinics and health care for the homeless programs; Myra Woll and Jacqueline Link, innovators in the battle to incorporate community-based HIV/AIDS public health programs in Philadelphia; and Michael Moore, a leader in developmental disability work. Board honorees were Paul Dandridge, retired chair and Ana Pujols-McKee, retired vice-chair.
