The U.S. Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology has designated the Pennsylvania Regional Extension and Assistance Center for Health IT (PA REACH) to assist the approximately 5,700 primary care providers and community-based health centers in this region implement and meaningfully use electronic health records (EHR).

Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC), a regional public health institute serving close to 200,000 clients with public health services annually, has been selected  by PA REACH to lead eastern Pennsylvania health centers towards EHR adoption and meaningful use.

With over 35 years of technical assistance, capacity building and sustainability management experience with health centers in the Southeast Pennsylvania region and beyond, our team is ready to assist your center in EHR implementation, meaningful use and procurement of Federal subsidies. This process includes:

  • Assessing your center’s workflow and optimizing it for EHR implementation
  • Researching and selecting an EHR product that fits your center’s unique needs
  • Training your staff on EHR implementation and use
  • Understanding and achieving meaningful use for your system
  • Complying with privacy and security requirements

Health centers can begin this process by completing the online interest form on the PA REACH East website. Be sure to designate PHMC as your preferred technical assistance support.
