Lauren Nestler is the Chief Communications and Strategy Officer for Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC), leading PHMC's communications, marketing and strategy development initiatives. She has nearly 20 years of experience in communications strategy, external relations and business development working within corporate, non-profit and start-up environments. Prior to joining PHMC in 2013, Lauren worked as a founding member of an executive team that created a health care start-up organization, Take Care Health Systems, which was acquired by Walgreens during her tenure. At Walgreens and Take Care Health Systems, Lauren held various roles growing in leadership and capacity, managing corporate communications, external relations and high-profile company projects for both the consumer and employer divisions of the organization. Lauren specializes in merger/acquisition communications, internal communications, change management efforts and cultural integration.

She earned a B.S. from Ithaca College in Corporate Communications and is currently pursuing her MBA at Thomas Jefferson University. Lauren serves on the Board of Directors of The Economy League of Greater Philadelphia and Graduate! Philadelphia. Lauren served as a long-term Board Member and now current volunteer for The Caring Center, an early childhood education center in West Philadelphia, and has held previous roles as a mentor/volunteer for Philadelphia Futures, an organization committed to providing low-income Philadelphia high school students with tools, resources and opportunities to attend and graduate college. Lauren is a LEADERSHIP Philadelphia Core Program Class of 2015 Alumni.
