The mission of The Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Philadelphia, through its dedicated staff, is to provide a continuum of home health, palliative, and end-of-life care of the highest quality to all people, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Home Health skilled professionals provide support following an inpatient stay or for management of acute and chronic illnesses. Palliative care, specialized medical care for people living with a serious illness, focuses on symptom relief and improving quality of life. Hospice focuses on holistic end-of-life care with a focus on symptom management and quality of life. VNA’s Hospice Inpatient Unit, located at the PHMC Public Health Campus on Cedar, stabilizes patients with difficult-to-manage symptoms.
